Position Summary
The Copywriter is responsible for creating clear, compelling, and on-brand written content that supports the company's marketing, sales, and communication objectives across US, Canada, and global markets. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role develops bilingual (English and French) copy that strengthens brand voice, engages target audiences, and drives business results across digital, print, and internal channels. Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Leadership teams, the Copywriter translates business goals, product value, and technical concepts into persuasive, audience-focused messaging. This role requires strong writing and editing skills, cultural and linguistic fluency in both English and French, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development & Brand Messaging
Create high-quality, bilingual (English and French) copy for marketing materials, including websites, landing pages, blogs, social, email campaigns, ebooks, brochures, presentations, and advertisements.
Develop clear, consistent messaging that aligns with brand guidelines, tone, and positioning across all channels.
Adapt content to suit different audiences, regions (US and Canada), and stages of the customer journey.
Ensure all written materials are accurate, engaging, and aligned with company values and objectives.
Campaign & Marketing Support
Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and campaign teams to support product launches, promotions, and brand initiatives
Write and optimize copy for digital marketing efforts, including SEO, AIO, AEO, and GEO-focused website content and paid campaigns
Support Sales and Customer teams with persuasive sales collateral, case studies, and customer-facing assets
Editing, Translation & Localization
Write original content in English and French and translate or adapt content between languages while maintaining tone, intent, and brand consistency
Review, edit, and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammar, and compliance with brand standards
Ensure regional specific language and cultural considerations are reflected where required
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with the Director of Marketing, product managers, and subject matter experts to develop integrated marketing assets
Participate in content planning sessions and provide input on messaging strategy and content calendars
Incorporate feedback from stakeholders while maintaining editorial standards and brand integrity
Content Management & Optimization
Maintain organized documentation of approved messaging, content standards, and templates
Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging content formats
Required Skills & Qualifications
Writing & Language Expertise
3–5+ years of professional copywriting or content writing experience, preferably in B2B, technology, or SaaS environments
Full professional fluency in both English and French (written and verbal)
Spanish (if applicable but not required)
Strong understanding of brand voice, storytelling, and persuasive writing techniques
Experience writing for digital platforms, including websites, email marketing, and social media
Professional Skills
Excellent attention to detail with strong editing and proofreading capabilities
Ability to translate complex or technical concepts into clear, accessible messaging
Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments
Adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving organization
Technical & Tools Knowledge
Familiarity with marketing platforms (SemRush), reporting tools (GA4 and google search console), and collaboration tools (Microsoft and Google)
Basic understanding of SEO principles and content performance optimization
Proficiency with standard business tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or equivalent)
Other Requirements
A flexible hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in the office and remote work otherwise if not near an office.
Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across multiple regions and time zones
Occasional travel may be required based on business needs
