The Role
We are seeking a full time Senior Project Manager to take full ownership of complex exterior projects. This is a high-visibility leadership role requiring a strong mix of technical knowledge, coordination skills, and financial awareness. You will oversee projects from shop drawings through close-out, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard.
Core Responsibilities
Full Lifecycle Management:
Oversee scheduling, contract administration, material procurement, and shipping logistics.
Technical Oversight:
Review shop drawings and construction documents to ensure alignment with architectural intent and system performance.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Act as the primary link between fabrication, field teams, consultants, and clients.
Financial & Contract Control:
Manage progress invoicing, vendor payments, and change notices in collaboration with procurement.
Supply Chain Leadership:
Issue purchase orders, manage subcontractors, and track materials from global suppliers to local production.
Field Leadership:
Conduct site visits, lead safety meetings, and represent the company at client and coordination meetings.
Relationship Building:
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with general contractors, architects, and suppliers.
Travel Requirement:
Willingness to travel to project sites across the GTA and, when required, across Canada.
Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of Project Management experience within the building envelope sector (cladding, roofing, glazing).
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of ACM, IMP, and various siding systems.
Software Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel is essential). Experience with Bluebeam or CAD is an asset.
Communication:
Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
Leadership:
Proven ability to manage field teams and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.
