Some of what you will do:
The Senior Director of Services is accountable for the full P&L, growth strategy, and operational excellence of Staples' Wireless, Internet & TV business and the national Services portfolio, including technical services, warranty, shipping, and essential services, This role will drive sustainable revenue growth, strengthening partnerships, enhancing customer satisfaction, and elevating execution across all channels. The Senior Director provides strategic leadership, leads cross‑functional initiatives, builds high‑performing teams, and ensures Staples delivers a seamless, end‑to‑end services experience for both consumer and B2B customers.
Specifically, You Will
Develop and execute an integrated multi‑year growth strategy spanning wireless, wireline, essential, technical services, and shipping.
Identify new market opportunities, emerging technologies, and unmet customer needs across consumer, SMB, and enterprise segments.
Lead go‑to‑market strategies in retail, digital, and B2B, ensuring alignment with Staples' enterprise priorities.
Build business cases, develop commercialization plans, and secure executive alignment for new programs and service innovations.
Act as senior lead for telecom partnerships negotiating commercial terms, programs, and performance expectations.
Expand relationships with OEMs, carriers, vendors, and service partners to diversify offerings and enhance competitiveness.
Oversee execution across all Services streams: Wireless, Internet & TV; Technical Services; Shipping; Provincial Services; and Essential Services.
Implement scalable systems, policies, and processes that improve productivity, service quality, regulatory compliance, and customer experience.
Hold full P&L accountability; achieve revenue, margin, and EBITDA targets across Telecom and Services businesses.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategies, and financial modeling to support decision‑making and investment prioritization.
Some Of What You Need
Post-secondary degree
10 + years of progressive senior leadership experience in telecom, services, or related customer‑facing industries, with strong expertise in sales, operations, and business development.
Demonstrated Profit & Loss ownership, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and achieving revenue, margin, and EBITDA targets across multiple service lines.
Proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies across wireless, wireline, and diversified service portfolios, including multi‑channel go‑to‑market execution.
Extensive experience leading strategic partnerships, including negotiating commercial agreements and managing joint business plans with carriers, OEMs, and service partners.
Strong background in service delivery leadership, overseeing technical services, essential services, shipping, provincial services, or other complex service operations while ensuring compliance and high service quality.
Deep people‑leadership experience, building high‑performing teams, developing talent, and fostering cultures of accountability, innovation, and collaboration across retail, digital, and B2B environments.
Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and represent the business with partners and external organizations.
Physical Demands/working Conditions
Office environment – Hybrid, with 4 days onsite in Richmond Hill, Monday to Thursday
