We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our bustling distribution center in Dallas, Texas. This position is vital to our daily logistics operations, ensuring that products are handled efficiently, safely, and accurately. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in various tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to Safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Store merchandise in designated locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently using order sheets or scanning equipment.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling, palletizing, and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to Safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular checks on inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
- Follow all company procedures and policies regarding Safety, Security, and Quality.
- Properly wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist with Loading and unloading trucks, demonstrating efficient Lifting techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Familiarity with basic Logistics concepts is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using RF scanners is beneficial.
