We are looking for a diligent Warehouse Associate to join our state-of-the-art facility in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you will be an integral part of our operations, responsible for various warehouse tasks that support our extensive logistics network. Your duties will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. You will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the seamless flow of inventory and the timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving incoming shipments, verifying quantities, and inspecting for damage.
- Storing inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Picking orders using RF scanners or pick lists with precision.
- Packing orders securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Loading outbound shipments onto trucks.
- Conducting regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse.
- Adhering to all Safety regulations and company guidelines, including the proper use of PPE .
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to overall Logistics efficiency.
- This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Willingness to follow instructions and learn new processes.
