Join our energetic team in Portland, Oregon, as an Order Picker! This crucial role is at the heart of our fulfillment operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled for shipment. You will navigate our warehouse, accurately identifying and retrieving products based on order specifications, and preparing them for the next stage of the logistics process. We pride ourselves on a safe working environment, requiring strict adherence to all safety protocols and the consistent use of appropriate PPE . This position is physically demanding and requires stamina for walking and frequent lifting .
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from various warehouse locations according to order slips.
- Use handheld scanning devices to record picked items and manage inventory.
- Verify product details and quantities against order requirements.
- Stage picked items in designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and best practices.
- Properly wear and utilize all required PPE .
- Meet or exceed individual and team productivity goals.
- Participate in inventory management activities, such as cycle counting.
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics team.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods. Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics . Dedication to workplace safety and correct PPE usage. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented and reliable.
