We are hiring a Distribution Center Associate for our busy facility in Dallas, Texas! This role is critical to our logistics operations, supporting the smooth flow of goods through our distribution network. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including receiving inventory, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. Your attention to detail and commitment to efficiency are vital to ensuring customer satisfaction. Safety is our top priority, and you will be required to strictly follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves physical demands, including regular Lifting of products, so a good level of physical fitness is necessary. We are seeking individuals who are proactive, reliable, and possess strong teamwork skills. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding Safety.
- Utilize required PPE at all times to ensure personal safety.
- Participate in inventory management activities.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting and moving of objects up to 60 lbs.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is desirable.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety protocols and procedures.
- Must be able to wear and properly use all required PPE.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
