We are seeking experienced Distribution Center Associates to join our growing team in Dallas, Texas. This role is vital to the efficiency and success of our complex logistics operations. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties including, but not limited to, receiving and processing inbound freight, accurately picking and packing orders, managing inventory through cycle counts and system updates, and ensuring the safe and organized staging of goods for shipment. We emphasize operational excellence, attention to detail, and a steadfast commitment to safety. You will be part of a collaborative team environment, working towards shared goals of timely order fulfillment and exceptional customer service. Comprehensive training on our specific processes, safety procedures, and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Replenish inventory and maintain stock accuracy within the distribution center.
- Operate various material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with company standards.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and demonstrate proper use of PPE.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
- Support the seamless flow of products through the entire logistics chain.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental and company objectives.
- Identify and report any operational issues, safety concerns, or potential improvements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to lift up to 60 pounds consistently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the consistent use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts as required.
