Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Perform quality checks on picked items to ensure they meet standards.
- Package products carefully using appropriate materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure all necessary documentation is attached.
- Operate scanning equipment and update inventory systems.
- Assist in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of required PPE.
- Report any safety hazards or operational issues immediately.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock management activities.
- Consistently perform lifting tasks up to 45 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in picking, packing, or warehouse work is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product information.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift.
- Must be able to handle lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Awareness of safety best practices in a warehouse setting, including the correct use of PPE.
- Understanding of the flow of goods in a logistics environment.
