Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate shipping labels and documentation for all outbound orders.
- Verify package contents against shipping orders to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS) for timely pickups.
- Schedule outbound shipments and track their progress.
- Inspect outgoing packages for proper packaging and sealing.
- Maintain organized shipping records and files.
- Operate shipping scales and other related equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
- Must be able to handle moderate lifting duties.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar shipping role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and carrier portals.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
- Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
