We are looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our distribution center team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this fast-paced role, you will play a critical part in fulfilling customer orders by accurately selecting items and preparing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy directly contribute to our logistics success and customer satisfaction. This position requires a keen eye for detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to working safely. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package products safely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages with shipping information and any required documentation.
- Meet daily picking and packing productivity targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations and timely order fulfillment within our logistics framework.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively and perform physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with basic logistics operations is beneficial.
