We are looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring all goods are accurately recorded, inspected, and processed into our inventory system. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and ensuring that our warehouse operates smoothly. You will be responsible for verifying quantities, checking for damages, and coordinating with suppliers and internal departments. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately enter receiving data into the inventory management system.
- Label and stage received goods for put-away or further processing.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues with shipments to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain organized receiving areas and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with unloading trucks and managing dock areas.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support inventory control procedures and participate in cycle counts as needed.
- Handle returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in receiving, inventory, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse operations.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and using required PPE.
