We are actively recruiting Order Pickers to join our dynamic team in Nashville, Tennessee. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include accurately locating and retrieving items from our warehouse inventory, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining an organized workspace. This position demands precision, efficiency, and a strong adherence to safety standards within our logistics operations. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently and as part of a collaborative team, focusing on accuracy and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and pick products from designated warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Utilize handheld scanners and other technology to track inventory and update order status.
- Perform quality checks on picked items to ensure accuracy and condition.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently for safe transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking area, ensuring products are easily accessible.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of required PPE.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory management as directed.
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- A proactive approach to safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Team player with good communication skills.
