We are looking for an efficient and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our logistics team in San Diego, California. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders by locating, picking, and packing items from our warehouse shelves. This role is vital to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the smooth operation of our fulfillment center. You will use an RF scanner to identify items, verify quantities, and record picks in our Warehouse Management System (WMS). The ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment is essential. You will also be responsible for staging picked orders for packing and shipping, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of your assigned picking zones, and adhering to all company safety policies. Proper use of PPE is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have excellent stamina, be comfortable performing frequent lifting (up to 40 lbs), and possess strong attention to detail. Previous experience in a similar role or in a warehouse environment is preferred, but we are eager to train motivated individuals. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner and WMS.
- Locate items on warehouse shelves and in designated storage areas.
- Verify product identification and quantities.
- Pack items securely for shipment.
- Stage picked orders for outbound processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of picking areas.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and WMS preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and frequent lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
