We are hiring an efficient Warehouse Associate for our facility in Sacramento, California. This position is key to our daily operations, encompassing a range of essential warehouse functions including receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and shipping. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a commitment to Safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will be responsible for handling materials with care, ensuring inventory accuracy, and contributing to the overall smooth functioning of our logistics network. We value reliability, productivity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your contributions will be vital to meeting our operational goals and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, accurately documenting all received items.
- Stock received goods into designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation.
- Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load and unload trucks, managing freight safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all protocols.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (if certified).
- Support the broader logistics and warehouse team in achieving daily objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
- A strong emphasis on Safety and adherence to all established procedures.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as business needs require.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
