We are looking for a dedicated Order Picker to join our busy warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders from warehouse shelves, ensuring all items are correctly identified and gathered. Your work is critical to our logistics operations, impacting order accuracy and customer satisfaction. You will utilize pick lists and potentially scanning equipment to locate and retrieve products. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working at a steady pace in a dynamic environment. We prioritize a safe working atmosphere, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the appropriate use of PPE, is non-negotiable. - Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on customer order lists or pick tickets.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Use of hand-held scanners or other technology to track picks.
- Notify supervisors of any stock discrepancies or issues with orders.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as stocking or cycle counting.
- Contribute to overall team efficiency and order fulfillment goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Ability to perform Lifting tasks, handling items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control and logistics principles is a plus.
