Join our fast-paced fulfillment center in Detroit, Michigan, as a Fulfillment Associate! This role is vital to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment within our extensive logistics network. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong work ethic. You'll work with a dedicated team to manage high volumes of products and maintain the integrity of our inventory. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a warehouse environment and is committed to upholding our high standards for order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. We prioritize Safety in all our operations and require adherence to all guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE. This role involves regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs and requires the ability to stand for extended periods. Your contribution is key to the success of our daily operations and the overall customer experience. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Prepare packages for shipment, applying labels and necessary documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse fulfillment or a similar role is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using RF scanners and basic computer systems.
