Join our team as a Material Handler in Chicago, Illinois! This position is essential for the smooth operation of our high-volume logistics center. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. Key duties include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, organizing and staging inventory, and assisting with cycle counts. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount. You will be required to adhere to all Safety protocols and wear the necessary PPE at all times. Thorough training on equipment operation and Safety procedures will be provided. This role demands physical strength and stamina, including regular Lifting of heavy items, often exceeding 60 lbs.
