Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging and shipment.
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Operate shipping equipment, such as pallet jacks and shrink wrappers.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company safety policies.
- Utilize and maintain required PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related administrative role is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and shipping software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capability for physical tasks, including some standing and occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Adherence to all company safety guidelines.
