We are looking for a meticulous Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team in Boise, Idaho. This position is vital for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring that all incoming goods are processed efficiently and correctly. You will be the first point of contact for deliveries, responsible for verifying contents, inspecting for damages, and properly documenting all receipts. If you have a sharp eye for detail and thrive in an organized environment, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify that received goods match purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect incoming merchandise for any damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Tag and label received products as required.
- Organize and stage received goods for distribution to appropriate departments or storage locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Must be able to manage routine lifting.
- Support the broader logistics and supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Commitment to maintaining an organized and efficient receiving process.
