We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Des Moines, Iowa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse, contributing to our overall logistics success. This role requires a strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to handle materials with care and precision. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
