Job Description:
- The primary duties include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
- Inspect individuals, conveyances, cargo/bags/merchandise for contraband items or prohibited goods.
- Maintain accurate records regarding inspections conducted.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, the ability to learn quickly, be able to make sound judgments when confronted with difficult situations.
a bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited college or university (substitution option), or three years' full-time general work experience that demonstrates people skills & learning abilities; prior law enforcement experience could qualify at higher grade levels.
