Job Overview:

This is a challenging opportunity to work as an experienced border patrol agent. Our workforce strives to safeguard our borders and protect the American people.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspect documents and possessions for citizenship verification or violations.
  • Prevent and apprehend aliens and smugglers by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.
  • Interpret tracks marks physical evidence of illegal entry persons contraband.
You are eligible for the GL-9 grade level if you possess one year's specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade performing duties such as:
  1. Performing searches on detained individuals vehicles immediate surroundings weapons contraband currency other evidence
