We are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Sales Representative to join our established wholesale HVAC distributorship. In this role you will represent nationally recognized food-service equipment brands while managing residential and contractor sales, including support products. You will build partnerships and identify new business opportunities across a multi-brand portfolio of equipment, parts, and supplies. The ultimate goal of this position is to develop, acquire, and maintain a strong customer base that supports a Sales Center within a designated territory, with success measured by your ability to cultivate lasting client relationships and drive sales growth in the assigned market. Primary product categories include: Commercial ice machines Super-automatic coffee equipment Beverage dispensing systems Water filtration solutions Related foodservice equipment and service parts Essential Duties/Accountabilities
Develop and execute territory-wide sales strategies to achieve maximum market share and sales dollars in Arkansas and surrounding markets, consistent with company policies and programs. Maintain and expand relationships with existing dealer, contractor, and end-user accounts. Proactively solicit new accounts and dealers, establishing direct personal contact and fostering long-term partnerships. Target multiple vertical marketsincluding hospitality, education, healthcare, convenience retail, and commercial foodserviceto uncover and develop new revenue streams. Research market trends, locate key decision-makers, and present customized equipment solutions that align with customer needs. Increase brand awareness and promote Baker Distributing Company's wholesale distribution programs throughout the assigned territory. Work closely with quoting, order fulfillment, and post-sale support teams to ensure accurate proposals, timely deliveries, and ongoing customer satisfaction. Serve as a host and representative at dealer meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive trips, product shows, utility-sponsored events, and industry association activities. Take a proactive approach to sales development and problem-solving; resolve customer relation problems promptly and professionally. Attend required training classes and stay current on technical developments, product line changes, and industry trends to meet and exceed customer expectations. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
