We are building Costflow, a UK-based fintech platform that enables regulated instalment payments for essential household bills.
We are looking for a senior full-stack developer (or small experienced team) to build the MVP production version of the platform.
This is not a marketing website — this is a transactional web application with payment routing, lender redirect flows, and audit tracking.
Scope of Work
Phase 1 – MVP Build
Build a secure web application including:
Public Web App
Landing page
User onboarding flow
Bill entry form
Application submission flow
Lender redirect integration
Post-decision status handling
Backend
Secure API layer
User authentication (JWT or equivalent)
Encrypted data storage
Database schema design
Application tracking logic
Status callbacks (webhooks)
Payment Flow
Ability to receive approved funds
Route funds to a named creditor
Log payment confirmation
Maintain audit trail
Admin Dashboard
View applications
Track funding status
Export reporting
Basic user management
Required Tech Stack
We prefer:
(React)
backend
PostgreSQL
Secure cloud deployment (Vercel/AWS)
Experience with payment APIs
Experience with fintech / regulated environments
