We are MicroLeague Sports, a simulation engine that settles the greatest "What-If" debates in NBA/NFL/MLB sports history (e.g., '96 Bulls vs. '17 Warriors). We don't do hot takes; we do data-driven simulations.
**Position Summary:**
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and exceptionally talented Lead Sports Content Architect who will play a pivotal role in driving our content engine and expanding our vibrant Discord community, , known as 'The Clubhouse'. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports content creation and community management. If you are passionate about sports and have a knack for building online communities, we want to hear from you
**The Role:**
This is a dynamic hybrid role that encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing our brand presence and community engagement. You will be responsible for the following key areas:
1. **Content & Video Production:**
- You will develop and produce high-energy, engaging short-form videos and other content on a weekly basis for our social media platforms, utilizing our comprehensive simulation data. Your creative vision will help us present our simulations in an engaging and accessible manner that resonates with our audience.
2. **Community Growth & Engagement:**
- You will take the lead in growing and managing our Discord server, 'The Clubhouse.' This will involve actively posting daily debates, fostering discussions, running interactive polls, and organizing and hosting live "Simulation Events" that encourage participation and excitement among our members. Your role will be central to creating a welcoming and thriving community atmosphere.
3. **Trend Jacking:**
- You will be tasked with staying on top of live NFL, NBA, and MLB news and trends, crafting timely and relevant MicroLeague "Receipts" (graphics, videos, and other content) that engage our audience and spark conversations. Your ability to react quickly to breaking news will ensure that our community remains informed and engaged.
**You Are a Perfect Fit If:**
- **You Know Ball:** You possess an in-depth understanding of sports statistics, historical context, and the narratives that have shaped the NBA, NFL, and MLB from the 1980s to the present day. Your passion for sports knowledge will shine through in your content.
- **You Are "Online":** You have a strong grasp of the digital culture surrounding NBA, NFL, and MLB discussions on platforms like Twitter/X and Reddit. Your familiarity with trending topics and community dynamics will be vital in enhancing our online presence.
- **You Have Receipts:** You can present a compelling portfolio showcasing sports or gaming content you've created that gained traction and engaged audiences.
