About the Job
The United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join its team as a Border Protection Officer.   As a CBP officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the American people by enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
Key Responsibilities
  • Borders Enforcement: Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws at designated ports of entry.
  • Traffic Management: Conduct inspections of individuals, vehicles, cargo ships,& aircraft to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Liaison Work: Collaborate with law enforcement agencies domestically & internationally to share information on potential threats.
  • Duty Locations: Choose from multiple duty locations across the U.S., including some that offer recruitment incentives for first-year officers.
