Fortnum & Mason is on the lookout for an exceptional Kitchen Porter to join our unique team at our beautiful flagship store in Piccadilly. As a vital part of our kitchen, you will be responsible for demonstrating world-class service, showcasing your passion for our products, and bringing this enthusiasm to life for every customer.

This role involves working 45 hours each week over 5 days , including weekends.

What You'll Do:
  • Assist the chefs with their day-to-day duties

  • Demonstrate planning, organizing, and time management skills to carry out all your responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, controls, and standards (e.g., due diligence, cleanliness, and HSE)

  • Maintain a safe, hygienic, and secure working environment

  • Ensure food safety when storing, holding, preparing, cooking, and serving food

  • Assist with the preparation of any required dishes

  • Work effectively as part of the kitchen team

What We're Looking For:
  • The ability to juggle various tasks, from keeping the kitchen spotless and pot washing to assisting chefs with meticulous prep work

  • A commitment to supporting the smooth running of the kitchen

  • Prior experience as a Kitchen Porter is beneficial but not essential
