Senior Cloud Solutions Architect . In this pivotal role, you will lead presales technical and functional support activities for prospective clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and engagement. This position suits motivated self-starters who excel in dynamic environments and relish solving intricate problems. This is a hybrid position, with a preference for candidates in the greater Washington DC area. The role typically involves onsite work at client locations 3-4 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely 1-2 days a week based on business needs. Responsibilities Your key responsibilities will include: Building strong relationships with strategic customers to design solutions tailored to their goals, leading to successful implementation and ongoing support. Collaborating with clients to thoroughly understand their systems, gather requirements, and develop architectures that translate mission needs into actionable insights. Delivering personalized presentations and demonstrations, and actively participating in industry conferences to showcase our solutions. Guiding customers from the Proof of Concept (POC) stage through to production deployment, including configuration and staff training. Contributing to technical responses for solicitations (RFI, RFQ, RFP, whitepapers) to secure new business opportunities. Leading the development of innovative solutions while staying informed on emerging technologies that can benefit our clients. Serving as a recognized expert in cloud solutions to ensure the success and satisfaction of our customers. Identifying enhancements to inform engineering roadmaps for features driven by customer needs. Effectively communicating technical information through presentations, documentation, and consultative approaches to a variety of audiences. Being open to travel up to 50% as business needs require. What We Are Looking For (Required): MUST
have experience working with the Federal Government. Expertise with major public cloud providers such as Oracle, AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with their tools and methodologies. Experience leading discovery sessions that result in meaningful business processes and architectural diagrams. Proven success in rearchitecting systems for cloud-native environments. Experience with various architectures including cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud deployments with full and split-stack strategies. Ability to accurately size and price hardware, software, and cloud solutions. Solid understanding of IaaS components, such as cloud networking, VPNs, firewalls, and containers. Familiarity with modern data platform architectures suitable for diverse data types. Experience utilizing infrastructure monitoring tools for performance assessment. Designing resilient architectures that meet COOP, RTO/RPO requirements. MUST possess or be able to obtain a Federal Security Clearance - MUST be a US Citizen. Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience with Oracle hardware (Exadata) and software (Oracle Database 19c). Certain roles may be subject to immunization and health mandates.
