National Security Specialist

Border Patrol Agents play a critical role in safeguarding national security by detecting and preventing undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders.

The primary purpose of a Border Patrol Agent is to ensure that the nation's security is not compromised. This requires being vigilant and proactive when it comes to spotting any suspicious activities or individuals.
It also involves making arrests when necessary. For example,

• arresting undocumented immigrants who attempt to cross into the country without proper authorization;


• capturing human traffickers who try to bring people into the country for exploitation;
