We are seeking a skilled short-form video editor with a keen eye for aesthetics to produce moody, low-exposure reels for an independent Alt-R&B artist. This position focuses on execution.
You will work from:
A curated Liked Reels Spreadsheet (format inspiration)
A shared iCloud/Dropbox content library (existing footage)
The goal is simple: recreate clean, trendy formats using our footage while maintaining a dark, mysterious, effortless aesthetic.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Select 3–5 reel formats weekly from our tracker
- Recreate using available footage
- Maintain consistent low-light, rich-black visuals
- Keep edits minimal, clean, and replayable
- Upload drafts and update tracker accordingly
**Aesthetic Qualifications:**
Candidates must possess a understanding of:
- Dark R&B visual themes.
- Low-light editing techniques that avoid over-brightening.
- Effective and minimal text placement.
- Captivating openings within the first 1.5 seconds of the reel.
- Smooth and clean pacing throughout the edit.
