As a Production Coordinator, you play an essential role in processing sales orders and releasing them to the sign shop technicians. They will liaise with the Sales Team on order details and maintain Sage300 data entry for the production team. The Production Coordinator will also review digital proofs and participate in inventory management. Reporting to the Production Manager, the ideal candidate will be a team player who can work well under pressure in both team and individual environments.
What you will be responsible for:
Administrative & Managerial Support
- Support the Production Manager with daily administrative and production coordination activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall production efficiency.
Production Order Management & Coordination
- Manage and track all production orders within the ERP system and related tracking tools.
- Coordinate multiple production orders simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and specifications are met.
- Document and track change orders, revisions, and production decisions.
- Review digital proofs and production orders for accuracy and production readiness.
- Coordinate rush and same-day orders with Production Technicians and Warehouse staff.
- Monitor production progress to ensure on-time completion and adherence to quality standards.
Purchasing & Vendor Coordination
- Create, issue, and monitor purchase orders for raw materials and shop-related services, ensuring timely delivery and cost accuracy.
ERP, Data & Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate production, purchasing, and inventory data within the ERP system.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts as required.

What we need from you:
- Highly skilled in rapid and accurate data entry, with strong attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of sign manufacturing processes and production workflows.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with production, warehouse, and purchasing teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to track issues, propose solutions, and follow through to resolution.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and utilization of key performance indicators (KPIs) for decision-making.
- Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and process optimization.
Where/When you will be working:
- Typical production facility atmosphere and environment.
- Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, or as determined by manufacturing needs.
- Required to speak and conduct manufacturing-related tasks.
- Required to move around the manufacturing floor and engage with operational teams.
