Location - This will be our GTA North Rep and will cover Vaughan, Newmarket, Barrie and surrounding areas.
We are building a new team to support our sales channel and grocery clients. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your beverage alcohol sales career with a strong performing Canadian company. 
This role acts as brand ambassador and sales rep ensuring the wine portfolio for Andrew Peller Ltd is represented well on grocery aisle shelves. They will be responsible for merchandising, relationship building, selling and sales support in Grocery Stores across their region. If developing into a Territory Manager or Sales leader is your goal this is a great place to start. Hours will vary, your own car is required and you must be available for 6-8 hour shifts for an expected 20-32 hours a week or more depending on the time of year and needs of the business.
This teammate will be responsible for:
Building & maintaining product displays in store.
Distribute and ensure all approved programs and value adds are applied to the correct products.
Moving and altering product and displays, exceeding on shelf presence.
Ensure stores are current with assortment, promotional pricing and displays.
Selling and executing the Andrew Peller portfolio, provided targets in applicable Grocery stores.
Build and strengthen relationships with key Grocery stakeholders.
Inform management on competitive activity and market changes in grocery stores.
Complete and submit Customer Reports weekly to the Key Account Manager
Follow safe work procedures and practices and report all unsafe working conditions/hazards to Leads/Manager.
We are looking for a teammate with:
Sales or service experience in Grocery/Alcohol Beverage preferred.
Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business ideal.
Self-motivated, with a high degree of accountability.
Proven ability to successfully identify opportunities and action promptly, at times independently.
Leadership & customer service skills including communication, product knowledge, problem solving, and attention to detail.
Maintenance of privileged and confidential information relating to APL sales & revenue growth opportunities.
Effective time management & results prioritizing activities.
Flexible outside regular business hours when required.
Occasional long-distance travel required.
Full Ontario G License
