About the Role

Join VetCare on its path to becoming a leading acquirer and operator of animal hospitals in Canada We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Analyst to join our team and help streamline our purchasing processes, manage vendor relationships, and drive cost efficiencies. This is a new role with significant impact and visibility within the organization based in Vancouver. 

The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for supporting the organization's centralized procurement function across all locations. This includes supplier sourcing and evaluation, managing purchase orders and contracts, tracking budgets, and monitoring vendor performance. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and has a strong understanding of procurement best practices. 

Who You Are

You are interested in the process and improvement of procurement and best practices. You also have the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while maintaining strong team work. 

You bring a strategic mindset and a bias for action, you also have a familiarity with RFP/RFQ processes and vendor performance monitoring.

You Bring:

  • 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, ideally in a multi-location environment.
  • Strong Excel skills; comfortable with data analysis, reporting, and basic financial calculations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with an ability to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Proactive problem solver with a willingness to take initiative.
