The U.S. Border Patrol is seeking highly trained professionals to join their team as a Border Patrol Agent.

A Border Patrol Agent's primary responsibility is to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws and inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders using surveillance techniques

To be successful in this role, you must possess one of the following qualifications:

• a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement OR graduate-level education in law enforcement from an accredited college or university;
• a combination of general work experience AND successfully completed college education that demonstrates your ability to take charge, make sound decisions, make arrests after required training applies skills in law enforcement capacity;
