Overview of Position:

The Sales Coordinator will report to the Director, Commercial Business and works closely with the Sales Lead. They will be responsible for assisting with product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer requests, selecting appropriate information, forwarding information and answering customer inquiries. You will review and maintain the sales Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, ensuring accuracy and assigning inbound leads. You will be taking and making calls, reporting or sales report analysis, and may be required to work with estimating and sales to compose written proposals for bids including drawings and pricing for all Cobra Enterprise Divisions. 

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, and should also be an effective and efficient communicator, verbally and in writing. The candidate should be polite yet persuasive in sales situations and manage well under pressure. They will balance and prioritize tasks through the use of effective time management. The coordinator will support the sales team by completing administrative and customer service tasks. They will interact with customers to answer questions or provide product recommendations and share potential leads. They may also make appointments for the sales team, manage customer relationships, and input transactions into the computer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present and promote Cobra Products and Services using existing and prospective inbound leads.
  • Calling/Emailing inbound leads/existing clients to understand current of future needs.
  • Manage and maintain the sales CRM, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and proper lead assignment. 
  • Work with clients and sales representatives to fill out customer intake forms 
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Work with Estimating and Sales to compose written bids for proposal.
  • Your overall responsibility is supporting the Sales team.

Preferred Qualifications (What you will contribute to the Cobra team / Experience or Certification):

  • 2+ years experience in sales. 
  • Self-starter, takes initiative, and asks questions. 
  • Excellent and intelligent communicator, verbally, grammatically, and in writing.
  • Background in sales within the construction or general contracting field is an asset.
  • Experience with CRM software, primarily Microsoft Sales Professional CRM or HubSpot considered and asset
  • Strong skills in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Persuading and negotiating skills.
  • Must be flexible, organized, and able to communicate with customers and members of the team.

Minimum or Other Qualifications (What you will bring to the Cobra role):

  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Thorough and attention to detail. 
  • A valid drivers license and the ability to commute daily to our office in Beausejour. 

Work conditions:

Using the computer, phone and other equipment associated with the trade, working primarily regular business hours with occasional extended hours, evening, or weekend during peak periods.
