Job Summary
Patterson Dental is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join its technical team at our Vancouver branch. As a Field Installer Site Lead, you will act as the on-site lead for installation projects and will be responsible for providing trained, intermediate-level on-site installation, repair, and maintenance support across a range of dental equipment and products.
Essential Functions
- Lead installation activities on site and serve as the main point of contact for the install team.
- Communicate regularly with the Install Project Manager regarding progress, risks, concerns, and any changes to scope, timeline, or site conditions.
- Relay directions from the Install Project Manager to installers, clarify priorities, and provide on-site leadership when the Project Manager is not present.
- Monitor site conditions related to safety, access, and workflow, and coordinate with contractors and other trades to maintain project flow.
- Address doctor or clinic concerns in real time and escalate issues when necessary.
- Verify that equipment arriving on site matches the approved equipment list and flag any missing, incorrect, or damaged items immediately.
- Manage on-site inventory and organization of the install truck, ensuring tools, parts, and consumables are accounted for and restocked as needed.
- Load, deliver, install, spec, and train customers on the use and basic maintenance of equipment sold.
- Use, maintain, and secure test devices and tools used to adjust, calibrate, and repair equipment.
- Complete all required paperwork, including time sheets, service orders, BRH forms, inventory, and expense or purchase card reports.
- Return defective modules, assemblies, or parts to the local office and properly label items.
- Perform other duties as assigned related to installation projects.
Job Qualifications
- Electronics diploma required.
- Valid driver's license and in order required.
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
- Motivated team player.
- Strong customer service skills.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in repair field in a dental/medical environment.
- Carpentry/plumbing/heating/electricity/electronics related experience required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
