Working alongside our Maintenance Supervisor and skilled Technicians, you will apply your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to a wide range of tasks, from maintaining critical equipment to completing essential repairs. What will you do?
- Maintain and Repair Facilities: Perform routine and on-demand maintenance on buildings, homes, fixtures, appliances, and equipment, including plumbing, carpentry, and light electrical work. Ensure all work is safe and efficient.
- Prevent Issues Before They Start: Conduct regular inspections and schedule preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical and plumbing systems, and structural elements to reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Problems: Quickly diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to keep operations running smoothly.
- Care for Grounds and Exteriors: Maintain outdoor areas through landscaping, trimming, and cleaning curbside and dumpster zones to ensure safety and appearance.
- Work Professionally with Others: Collaborate with clients, vendors, contractors, subcontractors, and Entrusters to coordinate work and resolve issues effectively.
- Prioritize Safety and Compliance: Follow safety legislation, company policies, and standard procedures, always using proper PPE and safe work practices.
- Travel Requirements: Travel occasionally across the province as needed and regularly between job sites and client homes in Edmonton using a company vehicle.
What are we looking for?
- Hands On Technical Expertise: A practical skill set in general maintenance, repairs, and basic trades, with strong problem-solving abilities.

- Safety First Mindset: A strong commitment to workplace safety, compliance, and responsible work practices.
- Team Focused Professionalism: A courteous, reliable individual who communicates well and works effectively with a wide range of people.
- Driving Credentials: A valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license is required.
- Employment Conditions: Job offers are contingent on providing proof of your legal eligibility to work in Canada. This includes:
- Identity Verification: You must provide proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the position for which you are hired.
- Required Documents: As part of the hiring process, you will need to submit the following documents, obtained within the last 3 months:
- Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector.
- Child & Youth Intervention Record Check.

Reports to: The Maintenance Supervisor and Technicians.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour.
Location and Days of Work:
- Tuesday to Friday. Full-time.
- This position requires working in a combination of office settings and private residences in Edmonton, Red Deer, and Calgary, as required.
