What a Typical Day Looks Like

  • Administrative support including answering and routing incoming telephone calls; processing mail, courier; meeting preparation and arrangements; ordering and maintaining office supplies; and maintaining general office equipment
  • Managing and maintaining Western's Print Portal (vendor management, user access and trouble support, document management)
  • Maintaining office equipment for all branches and regional and head offices
  • Providing support for lease renewals certificates of insurance and business license renewals including database maintenance
  • Providing administrative support for various Facility and Office Services maintenance schedules
  • Assisting as required in Occupational Health and Safety ("OH&S"), inspections, assessments and fire drills
  • Managing and maintaining employee access security cards and parking passes under prescribed procedures, monitoring visitor logbook and issuance of visitor badges
  • Reviewing, processing and reconciling orders and invoices in adherence to financial control procedures; including investigating and resolving discrepancies and other issues

  • Proven administrative experience
  • Superior multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proven history of professional communication, both written and verbal
  • Customer service focused and ability to plan, prioritize, and schedule effectively
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
