Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard - University - Casual in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Overview :
Allied Universal is seeking experienced Security Guard - University - Casual to oversee security operations at our Canadian site in Winnipeg at the Downtown location (please note there will be no free parking).
Requirement:
- Must have prior security experience in a team environment, and open availability.
- Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
- Experience with report writing and note-taking.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
- Valid security guard license.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada 40 hours per week.
- First Aid and CPR
- Must be at least 25+ years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
- Must have valid Driver's license.
Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :
- Access control for the facility/area
- Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
- Ensure that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
- Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
- Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
- Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
- Vehicle Gate and Console duties
