A patient's family is seeking a caregiver for a male patient who has expressed a preference for a same-sex caregiver for personal care services due to safety, privacy and dignity reasons. Patient is male who suffers from MS and mobility issues.
Schedule:
  • Tuesday & Thursday; 9:30 am to 12:30 PM, each shift is 3 hours,
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Location: Kennedy Road & 16th Ave, Markham (7 mins from closed bus stop if you take public transit
What we are looking for:
  • A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • certified PSW

What you will be doing:
  • Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
  • Provide assistance with personal care.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
  • Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
  • Properly manage household needs.
  • Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

Salary Range:
  • $20 per hour
