We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Border Patrol Agent to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for protecting the nation's borders and preventing illegal activity.
The ideal candidate will have one year of specialized experience in law enforcement or military law enforcement, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes. You must be proficient in the use of firearms, prepare investigative reports, serve court orders (e.g., warrants), and gather evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.
Additional requirements include being a U.S. citizen with primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years; having no age restriction if serving or previously served in federal civilian law enforcement position covered under Title 5 U.S.C.; eligible for Veterans' Preference appointment; passing medical examination; becoming fluent in Spanish within six months after employment; and successfully completing approximately six months training at US Border Patrol Academy.
