Border Protection Officer Job
This position involves safeguarding the nation's borders and ensuring compliance with customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.
Job Description:
- To prevent illegal entry of individuals and goods into the United States by conducting inspections at ports of entry and along border areas.
- To investigate cases related to contraband smuggling, human trafficking, and other illicit activities affecting national security.
- To enforce all applicable federal laws relating to trade balance control as well as facilitate legitimate international commerce while preventing violations that could compromise national interests or put lives in jeopardy.
The officer will also be responsible for interdicting smugglers using fraudulent documents or concealing commodities that pose significant risk if permitted unimpeded passage through inspection stations such as seafood —a highly sought-after commodity whose origin many questionable importers might not acknowledge without sufficient proof so they can avoid breaking any potential international trading restrictions enforced overseas!
Required Skills And Qualifications:
Pursuing an bachelor's degree in criminal justice, a master's degree is a must. ,or law enforcement program from an accredited college/university (with GPA 3.0 minimum).
