We are seeking highly skilled individuals to join our team as Customs and Border Protection Officers. As a CBPO, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the American people by enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.
- Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations;
- Facilitate legitimate trade and travel while preventing illicit activity;
- Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances;
You'll enjoy excellent compensation packages including annual salary increases for promotion possibilities with this federal career ladder position from GS-5 to GS-12.
Skills & Qualifications
To qualify at the entry level (GS-5), applicants must have either:
- A minimum 3 years of full-time work experience demonstrating ability to meet deadlines & interact professionally with people,
(1) , or
(2) (Bachelor’s degree) .
Policemen need no background check but only USA public service documentations can get Law Enforcement Retirement Plan benefits eligibility when they leave government office employment.,
You’ll learn everything necessary through an intensive training program that includes law enforcement skills ,immigration acts,'',weapons practice,personnel fitness/career evaluation,&more.This course is quite long-running spanning weeks although shorter courses do apply pre-service based on officer positions available..
