Position Description
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our Client office at a minimum 1-3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
We are looking for a Senior Azure Databricks / ETL developer to design, develop, and support data integration and transformation solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with existing legacy applications, modernizing ETL processes, and supporting business-critical data pipelines.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Configure DEV/UAT/PROD Environments on Azure Cloud.
Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Databricks
Develop data transformations using Python (PySpark) and SQL
Analyze and enhance existing legacy ETL applications
Setup IAM and Security Policies on Azure ; Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols and security policies on the Azure platform
Design and develop the core Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) solution using Azure Data Factory and SQL Managed Instance
Complete IST integration testing, participate in QAT support exercises.
Support code and environment promotion activities
DevOps Setup for Code Promotion Activities
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Strong experience in ETL development
Proficiency in Python and SQL
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Databricks
Experience working with large-scale data processing
Ability to work independently in a senior/lead capacity
Comfortable supporting and enhancing legacy systems
Nice to Have
iWay experience or familiarity
Banking and Collections domain experience
Experience with data migration or modernization initiatives
**CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000–$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.**
