We are looking to hire one Class 3 delivery driver.Start date: As soon as possible.
Reporting to the delivery driver supervisor, you will make deliveries to our clients (food stores, grocery stores, supermarkets).
Assigned refrigerated truck.
Responsibilities
Daily inspection of your truck (pre-trip inspection);
Inspection of your cargo (loaded the previous day by the order pickers according to your routes) and departure;
Lifting loads, moving boxes manually;
Moving pallets using a manual or electric pallet jack;
Delivering orders to customers according to your assigned routes; Dock-to-dock and manual;
Establish respectful and trusting relationships with customers and colleagues;
Communicate information effectively and professionally.
Work Schedule
Four (4) days per week for 45-50 hours
Class 3 license required, Monday to Friday (Tuesday off)
Desired Profile
Early riser, shift starts between 3:00 and 4:30 a.m.;
Good physical condition essential;
Drive safely;
Punctual, reliable, resourceful, responsible, and hardworking;
Works well both independently and as part of a team Team;
Speaks and writes basic French and English preferred.
Training And Skills
Class 3 driver's license (Class 1 is an asset)
Good driving record;
Experience with delivery and handling using a tailgate;
Experience operating a forklift and jigger;
Fluency in spoken and written French; English preferred;
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
