The Intern, Distribution Coordinator will be execute a project on route optimization and assessing and documenting the current structure, as well as work with CITS reasons and driver training.
The Internship Program will run from May 11 to August 14, 2026.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter...
Create load balancing template to measure cubing on each routes capacity
Map current Distribution route structure and utilize tools to come up with better proposed routes
Reviewing mileage reports and audit all Ontario routes to verify accuracy
Ad-hoc requests and Special Projects.
YOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU...
Are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management, Business/Administration, Warehouse and inventory management or related field;
Are active in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community;
Have previous related internship experience (an asset);
Are detail-oriented, analytical, self-motivated and willing to take initiative;
Experience in the food manufacturing or trucking industries (an asset);
Have experience leading or participating in a Route Optimization Project
Advanced proficiency in Excel (Formulas, macros, power queries, etc.);
Have strong time management and organizational skills: you will manage priorities and multiple projects at a time all while ensuring to meet deadlines.
