About Ballet BC
Ballet BC is an internationally renowned contemporary dance company led by Artistic Director Medhi Walerski. With a company of 20 dancers, we present bold new work by Canadian and international choreographers and tour nationally and internationally alongside our regular performance season in Vancouver. As the largest dance organization in British Columbia, we are committed to artistic excellence, community connection, and expanding access to dance.
The role
Ballet BC is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Audience Services Manager to lead all ticketing operations and deliver an exceptional patron experience. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, this role is responsible for subscription and single ticket sales, CRM and ticketing system management, reporting, and overseeing Box Office operations for performances.
Key responsibilities
Oversee subscription and single ticket sales, including renewals, fulfillment, exchanges, refunds, and inventory management
Act as the primary point of contact for subscribers and ticketing inquiries (email, phone, and in-person)
Build and manage all performance events within the ticketing system
Administer the Leap Event Technology ticketing and CRM platform
Generate patron, sales, and financial reconciliation reports
Support pricing strategy, house scaling, and revenue optimization initiatives
Coordinate VIP, sponsor, media, staff, and donated ticket allocations
Collaborate with Marketing on subscriber communications, retention, and sales campaigns
Set up and oversee on-site Box Office operations, including staff coordination and venue liaison
Qualifications
3–5 years' experience in audience services, box office, or front-of-house roles (managerial experience preferred)
Experience with ticketing systems, CRMs, and patron data management
Strong understanding of subscription campaigns and single-ticket sales
Experience with financial reconciliation and reporting
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Experience supervising staff and coordinating front-line teams
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Knowledge of the performing arts sector is an asset
