TalentWorld is hiring for a Payroll Coordinator for one of our amazing clients in Mississauga, ON. This is a temporary role with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. This position is hands-on and focused on delivering accurate, timely payroll and benefits administration. Payroll Coordinator Responsibilities
Process full-cycle payroll in accordance with provincial and federal legislation.
Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Reconcile payroll and benefits data to ensure accurate deductions and remittances.
Prepare payroll reports and support internal audits as required.
Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure seamless data flow and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with employment standards, taxation requirements, and company policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Payroll Coordinator Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, ideally in a high-volume environment.
Dayforce/Ceridian payroll system experience is required.
Strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation.
Experience with group benefits administration (enrollments, life events, monthly billing reconciliation).
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field.
PCP certification (or working toward it) is an asset.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
Employment Details
Schedule: Monday to Friday (full-time)
