What are your contributions to the team?

Manage internal and external activities between functions, the role of the Engineering Program Analyst is to ensure all required governance, integration, communication, evaluation and execution of various elements of the Programs in accordance with the program strategy (includes customer requirements, quality and business case requirements) and schedule.

  • Own and manage the development and management of the strategies, schedules and budget of your engineering project portfolio. 
  • Manage your project portfolio within the organization of the program office (Plan, Organize, Direct and Control)
  • Manage governance related to your work package, establish metrics to monitor employee and technical performance and progress, and prepare the necessary content (agenda, strategy, proposed schedule, profitability analysis, etc.)
  • Establish & present engineering-related project schedules and business cases, and guide the cross functional team towards defined project milestones
  • Lead and facilitate project integration, evaluation and execution with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage risks & opportunities associated with your portfolio of projects
  • Provide support and prioritization to team members both internally and externally
  • Control Program costs (manpower, material and other direct costs), support negotiations with suppliers and other stakeholders in terms of schedule, technical scope and commercial impact 
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
  • You hold a undergraduate university degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent. Holding a graduate degree or professional certifications would be an asset 
  • You have at least five (5) years of professional experience in the aerospace sector or otherwise in a complex manufacturing sector. Ideally, you have eight (8) or more years of experience 
  • You demonstrate informal leadership skills in project management and have an interest for commercial negotiations 
  • You have good communication and influencing skills in order to collaborate with colleagues in Quebec and around the world 
  • You have good sense of organization, time management and you demonstrate autonomy 
  • You have good knowledge of manufacturing concepts and processes and the ability to relate them to financial performance 
  • You have excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Office suite, TEAMS, with knowledge of data base management, scheduling and spreadsheets 
  • You can work in either one of our Montreal sites or our Toronto site (at Pearson airport) at least twice per week in person
